Departing from the traditional car show facility, the design of this centre reflects BMW’s brand and drive for cutting edge technology, providing a total experience for customers, owners and visitors. The building incorporates material technology from both architectural and automotive design.
While there were tight site constraints, the design optimised the limitation with a striking transparent façade that reveals the interiors, offering permeability and an extension of experience. The façade’s double skin glazing system also serves as an environmental filter against the harsh afternoon sun.
