MITEC’s stately and elliptical design is inspired by the rubber seed. As the development is envisioned to boost Malaysia’s business tourism, the design draws reference from the rubber seed being the country’s fundamental source of income in an abstract and contemporary manner.

As Malaysia’s largest trade and exhibition space, MITEC is able to accommodate up to 40,000 visitors at a time, sprawling over a 13-acre prime land, and a total area of 1.5 million square feet.

This luminous sculptural structure houses 11 exhibition halls over three display floors. With its curved façade and pillarless interiors, it is poised to become a distinctive landmark in the city.
