The design for Khalifa University’s Science, Technology & Research campus extension seeks to redefine learning experiences by introducing a more collaborative and interactive environment. Instead of providing functional corridor spaces, the creative spine is turned into an open and interconnected social space to foster greater exchange of ideas.

Supporting another 3,000 students, with additional cutting edge facilities, efforts were focused on detailed circulation planning for seamless connections throughout. Public plazas, courtyards and sky gardens were also carved out for greater public interactions, encouraging the growth of a vibrant learning community.
