BIJOU

Bijou is a 5-storey mixed-use development located at the junction of Jalan Mat Jambol and Pasir Panjang Road, and situated conveniently opposite the Pasir Panjang MRT Station. Completed in 2018, the development offers a comprehensive array of condominium facilities and 120 residential units. The basement and first storey is an integrated retail zone which connects residents to a myriad of amenities.

The design of Bijou caters to an evolving urban lifestyle and the demand for multi-function spaces. The residences offer flexible spaces and dual-key units, and come with ceiling heights of up to 3.35m. The unique design of the pitch roof on the attic is a response to the surrounding terrace houses with their traditional pitch roofs. The attic opens up to a roof garden, exemplifying how greenery and landscaping are integrated to enhance both the natural and built environments.

‘Bijou’ in French means ‘jewel’. Drawing inspiration from its French name and the shipping containers at the nearby maritime port, the façade of Bijou is made with steel and glass, presenting an interesting juxtaposition of the sleekness of glass with the industrial look of steel.
