Devan Nair Institute for Employment & Employability

Limitless possibilities for interactions

The Project

As a campus for lifelong education, a continuous path is generated to create a borderless environment open to the public. A main circulation route around a central courtyard connects the different functions within the campus, opening up to intermediate terraces and informal open spaces for greater interactions.

The open design inspires greater connections

You feel part of an active community

The Challenge

The challenge was to create an urban landmark that not only engaged the campus’ potential 2,400 students but visitors and the public as well. Connecting to the Jurong Elevated Platform Network, the design seamlessly integrated the campus with its surroundings, raising awareness about its activities at the same time.
